Our History
The Ogwini story
Ogwini Comprehensive Technical High School was established to answer a clear community need: a school that could combine rigorous academic teaching with genuine, workshop-based technical training. Over more than three decades, the school has grown from a handful of classrooms into a full comprehensive campus with dedicated laboratories, technical workshops, and sporting facilities.
Generations of learners have passed through our gates — many going on to universities, TVET colleges, apprenticeships and successful careers in engineering, construction, ICT and commerce. Today, Ogwini remains rooted in the same founding purpose: preparing every learner, academic or technical, for a future built on real skill.
